Across Canada and to the United States. Most orders are placed by Canadian customers and ship from Ottawa.

Free shipping in Canada on orders over $50 CAD. Below that, a flat $7.95 standard rate applies. US shipping is calculated at checkout based on size and destination.

Every print is hand-finished to order, so allow 5 business days for production. Delivery typically takes 3-7 business days inside Canada once the package ships, depending on your province.

We email a tracking number as soon as your package ships. If you can't find it, check your spam folder or reply to your order confirmation and we'll resend.

30 days from delivery. If you're not happy with your print for any reason, send it back and we'll refund the full purchase price (less original shipping). Damaged or defective items are refunded in full including shipping.

Reply to your order confirmation email or write to hello@chromora.ca with your order number. We'll send return instructions and a Canada Post label if your print arrived damaged.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 2 business days of the return arriving back at the studio. Your bank may take a further 3-5 business days to post the credit.

Archival cotton canvas printed with pigment-based inks rated for 100+ years of colour-fastness in normal indoor lighting. Canvases are stretched over solid wood bars, gallery-wrapped (1.5 inch deep) — the painting wraps around the edges so no frame is required.

Premium 200 gsm matte or 230 gsm glossy archival paper. Posters ship rolled in a sturdy tube for sizes above 11×14, or flat in rigid mailers for smaller sizes.

Gallery-wrapped canvases are ready to hang as-is — the image continues over the wooden edge. Framed canvases add a hand-finished solid wood floater frame (matte black or natural oak) around the gallery wrap, for a more traditional finish.

We work from the highest-resolution scans the museum has released — typically Google Art Project or each museum's own digital archive — and calibrate against published reference plates. Slight variation between monitors is normal; the print is colour-managed to match a calibrated reference, not your screen.

Six sizes from Mini (8×10″) to Extra Large (36×48″). Some paintings are capped at smaller sizes when the source scan can't print at gallery quality at the larger dimensions — this is enforced automatically on each painting's page. See the shop for size and pricing per painting.

Yes, as long as it hasn't gone into production. Reply to your order confirmation within 12 hours and we'll cancel or swap before printing starts.

Yes — check the 'Send as a gift' box at checkout. We skip the price slip in the package and let you add a short message that's printed on a card and tucked inside.

All major credit and debit cards via Stripe (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover) plus Apple Pay and Google Pay where supported by your browser.

Yes. Payments are processed by Stripe — we never see or store your card details. The connection is HTTPS-encrypted end-to-end.

Yes. Canadian sales tax (HST/GST/PST) is calculated at checkout based on your shipping province. Ontario rate (13%) is shown as an estimate in the cart.

If you have a code (welcome offer, promo, etc.), enter it on the Stripe checkout page in the 'Add promotion code' field. Multi-print discounts (10% off when you order 2+ prints) are applied automatically — no code needed.

We only print works that are in the public domain (artist died 70+ years ago). If you'd like to suggest a painting that fits, email hello@chromora.ca. We add new pieces regularly.

Not at this time. We focus on the public-domain catalog so we can guarantee you the best museum-quality reproduction.
