The story of Titania and Bottom

Titania and Bottom is an oil painting by Henry Fuseli from around 1790, held at Tate Britain. It was commissioned by John Boydell for his Shakespeare Gallery and shows a moment from Act IV, scene 1 of A Midsummer Night's Dream, in which Titania, under a love potion, dotes on Bottom, whose head has been turned into that of an ass. Titania's pose is adapted from Leonardo's Leda and the Swan (Wikipedia, Titania and Bottom).
