The story of Forest of Fontainebleau

Corot exhibited Forest of Fontainebleau at the Salon of 1834 at the Louvre in Paris. It is sometimes confused with another view of Fontainebleau that he showed at the Salon of 1831. The painting is now in the National Gallery of Art in Washington.
